Plan to arrive at least the day before your tour at Cancun International Airport. Our starting location in the city of Playa del Carmen is located 45 minutes south of the airport. We can provide you wilth the name of a taxi service that will pick you up and take you directly to your hotel. The cost for this service is $60 USD. If you are on a budget or feel more adventurous, you may purchase a bus ticket at the airport with ADO buslines. They depart every 20 minutes for Playa del Carmen.
Pre and Post Tour Hotel Add-on: We highly recommend that you spend the night before the tour in the same hotel as the rest of the group. We will be leaving first thing in the morning on the first day of the tour from this location. The nights before and after the tour are not included in the cost of the tour. It may be booked on the page titled: Tour Options.
We begin the tour with the huge ceremonial center of Coba that once housed 50,000 people.
Aho - We are on our way! The tour departs from the Tukan Hotel located at 5th avenue between 14 & 16 in Playa del Carmen. Again, we recommend that you purchase the Pre/Post Tour Add-on so that you will spend the night before the tour with the group, ready to go in the morning! Travel time to Coba will be 1.5 hours.
Eat a good breakfast - it wiill be at least four hours until lunch! Remember to wear a sun hat, bring your sunscreen, pack water and some snacks (available on-site).
Depending on which hotel you are staying at, breakfast may or may not be included in your stay. You will be advised.
Ceremony and activation with Quetza Sha followed by free time to explore. The site is sprawling, so you may want to rent a bike!
The monumental Pyramid of Nohoch Mul is almost twice as high as the pyramid at Chichen Itza! There are various impressive structures to explore and many stellae or carved rocks.
There is a good restaurant onsite and also many smaller restaurants within walking distance in the town. Meals are not included in tour price.
Pack your swimsuit! After a hot day of pyramid trekking in the jungle and spiritual activation there is nothing like a swim in a fresh water cenote or sink hole. There are many in the area and Multum Ha is considered one othe most beautiful. It is located 18 meters underground in a spectacular vaulted cavern with crystalline blue fresh water.

Enjoy dinner at the hotel or visit the town for alternative restaurants and some souveinir shopping! Or you may be up for a relaxing evening swim in the pool...

The enormous structures and the highly decorated facades are what defines Ek Balam. The most impressive is the pyramid/tower, El Torre, which houses the tomb of one of Ek Balam's powerful rulers.
